Marble City Hawks Ladies Basketball Coach Julian O’Keeffe says they don’t mind the long trip up to Letterkenny in Donegal to play IT Carlow in Sunday’s National League Final.
Speaking to KCLR, Julian says it’s a final and that they will play it anywhere.
“We are after making the play-offs final and we beat UL the weekend in Waterford so we have the long trek up to Donegal, but we don’t mind the oul travel up it’s a final so we will take it.
“It would have been chosen early on in the year, like last year we had it in Kilkenny so this year it’s up in Donegal so they try to change it around every year and see what happens.
“The girls are going to travel up on the Saturday and they are going to sat over, and myself and my assistant coach David will travel up on Sunday morning because I am actually working on Saturday so I have to wait.” he said
