It is a big weekend of action in Kilkenny as the Junior Mock Lawlor Premier Cup final and and Junior Leinster Plate final take centre stage.
The Premier Cup final sees a repeat of the KCLR McCalmont Cup decider as Evergreen take on Thomastown United.
Gary Maher’s side defeated Thomastown 4-0 in last month’s McCalmont Cup clash to complete a league and cup double. Victory this weekend would complete an historic treble as the town club go in search of their first ever Premier Division Cup title.
Thomastown will be hoping for a different result in the sides second final in two weeks as they look to end the season with a piece of silverware.
That game takes place in Derdimus Park at 5pm on Sunday June 12th.
Elsewhere, St. Canice’s know that they can complete a treble of their own with victory in the Leinster Plate final.
Following a Division 2 league triumph and divisional cup victory against Castlewarren Celtic, they travel to Castledermot going in search of yet another trophy.
Kick off in that game is 12pm in Mullarney Park with the Kilkenny side taking on the winners of Leixlip and Home Farm.
