Kilkenny’s J1 men’s side lifted the Provincial Towns Cup at the weekend and their women’s side will be hoping to bring home more silverware on Saturday next.

The local side head for Ollie Campbell Park in Old Belvedere where they take on Tallaght in the Division 5 cup final with an 11 am kick-off.

They defeated Navan 40-8 in their semi-final.

Tullow

The Tullow women are busy getting ready for their big game on Saturday where they take on Tullamore in the Paul Flood Cup Final.

They’re also heading to the Old Belvedere pitches with their game kicking off at 4 pm.

They beat Mullingar 63 – 17 in the semi-final.

Meanwhile, the Tullow J1s have booked their place in the Provincial Towns Plate final after a 41-19 win over Enniscorthy.

They’ll take on Navan in the final but the time, date, and venue have yet to be decided.
