Tullow Rugby Club Head Coach Maurice Logue says having almost the entire squad that won the Provincial Towns Cup a few years back is a major advantage as they get their cup campaign at home on Sunday against Newbridge.
Speaking to KCLR, Maurice says the experience augurs well for another good Cup run again this year.
He said “You can get a very favorable draw that could put you into a nice position once you get into the knockout rounds and neutral venues which is what happened the year we won it”.
“Anything can happen so yeah of course, with the squad we have, it is very experienced, it has loads of Town Cup experience as well so you would like to think that we would be in a position to be challenging anyway through the latter stages depending on the draw”.
