Tullow Ladies Rugby Head Coach Cora Brown says they are taking nothing for granted despite running away with the League section of Division Two of the Leinster League.

Speaking to KCLR ahead of Saturday’s Division 2 final against CYM, Cora says this weekend is a whole new ball game.

“We have put in a very very long and hard shift and the girls have been very very dedicated. They know what disappointment is like after two years ago.”

“We got to the play-off and we were bitterly disappointed to lose. We are quietly confident, we have a very good bench, we have seven good girls, rolling subs to come off if we needed them but we are taking nothing for granted. We have trained very very hard and physical this week.”

“CYM are there for the very same reason, and they believe they can beat us, and we believe they can beat us if we don’t put on our A game, it’s a simple as that.”

Tullow face off against CYM at 12.30pm this Saturday in the Division 2 Women’s League Final at Old Belvedere’s grounds. The Division 1 final puts Tullamore and Rathdrum together; Wicklow v Garda/Westmastown is the Division 3 final with Wanderers and Dublin University playing out the Division 4 Final
