There’s huge excitement around the Black Gates as the Tullow Under 12’s get ready to head to the RDS to showcase their skills during half-time of the Rabo Pro 12 Leinster v Osprey’s game, on March 5th.

Tullow RFC Mini’s Coordinator and Under 12’s Coach, John Manifold says that choosing a squad of 18 from the 28 or 29 under 12’s players wasn’t an easy task.

“This bunch have been going hammer and tongs all season, but in the end it came down to whoever trained the most and played the most games. Then whoever was with us longer got the nod”.

There’s a great buzz among the squad, not least because they will get to meet some of their Leinster hero’s before they take to the pitch.

Tullow will play Newbridge in the display game.

All mini’s clubs from around the province are invited to a display game at the RDS during the season.

The squad and two coaches receive complimentary match tickets.
