There’s changes afoot at Tullor Rugby Club with the Carlow side looking to appoint a new head senior coach / head player coach for their men’s teams.

Still contesting the Provincial Towns Plate, Tullow endured a tough 2021/22 Leinster League campaign where injuries and Covid restrictions took their toll.

Now, it’s time for a change, so if you’ve been considering a move into club rugby and you’ve got the experience to back it up, there’s a very tasty position available at The Black Gates.

With two playing pitches – one grass, one a new 3G pitch – the club have teams at boys and girls from U6 to U18.5 in the youth’s section along with a senior women’s team and J1 and J2 men’s team.

Per the club, “the successful candidate will be responsible for the training and supervision of both our J1 and J2 teams. They will also be required to work with our U18.5 boys as part of a training session once a week”.

The ideal candidate will also have a good knowledge of local rugby structure, a stage 3 / senior coach award and have experience developing players.

Interested parties can send CVs to [email protected] or phone 083 3614436. The closing date for receipt of applications is Monday 11 April.
