Tullow Rugby Club Head Coach Maurice Logue says that Wicklow have strengthened their team since last years Towns Cup Semi-Final clash.

Speaking to KCLR, Maurice says it’s going to be a difficult task if they are to progress into a Quarter-Final.

He said “They were in our Division a few years ago and we had a good few tussles against them. They shaded it over my time anyway in Tullow”.

“We got a win obviously in the Towns Cup Semi-Final against them last year, they have been going pretty well, they are in top four of the Division they are in at the moment and probably competing for a top two at this present moment with Enniscorthy kind of the runaway leaders so they are a very good team” said Maurice.

“They have invested in terms of getting players in from last year, they have a couple of guys back, they have strengthened the team plus a couple of guys they have retained so we are under no illusions that it’s going to be a pretty difficult task”.
