Mick Byrne of the Raging Bull Boxing Club in Carlow is hopeful of the prospects of both Shane O’Brien and Qudus Narudeen can win their respective National Finals on Saturday in the National Stadium.
Speaking to KCLR, Mick thinks that Qudus can gain revenge on his opponent having lost to him in the Youths.
He said “Shane is 52(KG) and he is a Boy 4 and they have Qudus Narudeen, he is Boy 1 or 2, 80 KG’s is Qudus and he is fighting a very good chap Peter Monaghan from Ballyhaunis, he got beaten by him in the Youths so we are just hoping we turn that one over when it comes”.
