Mount Leinster Rangers selector Kieran Lucas doesn’t think that Erins Own having to play two games in five days will be any disadvantage.

The Bagenalstown Club defeated Naomh Brid in a re-arranged game on Monday night and speaking to KCLR, Kieran says the fact that Mount Leinster Rangers are a dual club is very challenging…..

“I wouldn’t think so” when asked whether Erins Own playing two games in 5 days would be a disadvantage.

“Because the fact that we are a dual club ourselves, we are out practically every weekend”

“Okay we had a free weekend last weekend but we have hurling this weekend, we have football the following weekend and that is followed then again by two consecutive weekends of hurling again so it’s all a question of just getting the balance right between games and training and all of that, so I wouldn’t see it of any disadvantage to Erins Own”.
