Carlow GAA and Carlow Camogie will host this year’s U16 and senior Leinster Poc Fada finals as a joint venture.

This year’s finals are scheduled for Saturday 25 June on Mount Leinster, with times (and directions) due to be published on the completion of each county’s own Poc Fada events.

Louth GAA (24 May, Annaverna Short Course), Carlow GAA (30 May, Mount Leinster) and Dublin GAA (10 June, Howth) have already confirmed their county finals.

Outstanding counties are encouraged to submit details as soon as possible to [email protected]

While the mountains may be well for some, spare a thought for those out in Los Angeles Hurling Club. As part of their Ireland Week, the California club are also running a Poc Fada on the beach in Santa Monica, no less.

Limerick All-Ireland senior hurling winner Colin Ryan was crowned overall national Poc Fada champion last year.
