Support continues to pour in for Eddie Connolly of Loughmore-Castleiney club as the Tipperary man battles cancer.
With a fund raising drive ongoing for his support, students and teachers (including some of the current Kilkenny senior hurling panel) at local St. Kieran’s College have gotten involved and posted this video along with their nominations as the ‘Score 4 Eddie’ challenge takes off.
There’s a nice bit of skill on display in the setup for the St. Kieran’s College video, kicked off by Kilkenny’s Michael Rice, joined by Jonjo Farrell, 2014 All-Ireland captain Lester Ryan and Michael Walsh.
The 29 year old represented Tipperary in both hurling and football but in late 2013 was diagnosed with brain cancer and has been recently undergoing a form of cancer treatment in Spain that is not covered by medical insurance.
