The Carlow Senior hurling championship continues a pace this weekend.
Naomh Eoin and St Mullins clash tomorrow evening from 6 in our live commentary game.
Then at 8 o clock, Ballinkillen and Mount Leinster Rangers go head to head.
Ballinkillen managed by Kilkenny legend Eoin Larkin , lost last weekend to Bagenalstown Gaels on a scoreline of 0-13 to 2-17, having previously lost to St.Mullins in the first round 1-17 to 0-12.
Rory Dunbar, who is in his 20th year playing with Ballinkillen spoke to Scoreline and had no excuses in regards to their successive defeats, saying
“We were most definitely beaten by the better team . We would be an honest group, Eoin Larkin wants that , no BS atall. We wouldn’t be happy with that because that is not were we want to be. The reality of it is, we just didn’t perform again, same with St. Mullins. We didn’t leave the game behind us, the better team won.”
“We have a serious amount of work to do, but we will do the work”
