Eamon Phelan says that Lisdowney will do their utmost to claim the Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai Kilkenny Intermediate Hurling League title this weekend.
His side take on Thomastown on Sunday at quarter to 3 in the league decider in UPMC Nowlan Park with both teams going into the game with a 100% winning record.
Speaking to KCLR after his team’s defeat of St Martin’s, the Lisdowney manager said that they won’t hold anything back.

We came out to win the game, we set out our stall, same as every other game.”
“We’re delighted to be in the league final.”
“We’re in it to win it, you know, and every game we go to play, we go to win, so to be no different today or no different next weekend or in the quarter-final of the championship next weekend.”
The fixture details for this weekend’s Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai Kilkenny Intermediate Hurling Championship first-round games have been announced.
On Saturday, Rower Inistioge will take on Young Irelands at half past 2 in St John’s Park, while there are two games at 5 o’clock with Mooncoin facing Blacks and Whites in Thomastown and Conahy Shamrocks meeting O’Loughlin Gaels in Pairc Lachtain in Freshford.
Carrickshock and Fenians go head-to-head at 5 p.m. on Sunday in St John’s Park.
