Kilkenny will be hoping to make it three from three in the Walsh Cup.
With defeats of Offaly and Laois secured in the opening two rounds, the Cats know that they will advance to the decider in Croke Park against Galway if they avoid defeat to Wexford. The only problem is they have to meet them on their own ground.
The Model County will be buoyed by the fact that they managed to sell out the stadium for the clash with the launching of their new lights. A huge crowd of 12,500 will be in attendance as manager Daragh Egan brings in a total of ten changes from last weekend’s victory over Offaly.
