Wexford County Board PRO PJ Howlin says they should be able to get back to normal regards training after the severe snowfall the last few days in which the County was one of the worst affected by the weather conditions.
The Kilkenny and Wexford National Hurling League clash fell by the wayside at the weekend after it was postponed and speaking to KCLR , PJ says they weren’t able to go ahead with outdoor training.
“Well the last few days was probably non-training because our training grounds in Ferns would of been completely covered over in Snow.
“So besides doing a bit of training possibly indoors, the outdoor training like couldn’t go ahead because of the lying snow so that would have had a major impact on training.
“Yeah, I would say from today on, it looks like that there is a big thaw from today on so it should be back to normal after today, training wise and stuff like that,” he said.
