Brian Cody says that Wexford are going to be extremely difficult to defeat.

Speaking to KCLR after Saturday night’s game, Brian says Wexford’s progress has been evident for some time.

“Wexford are going very very well all year and even before this year, they were threatening to come and do something”, said Cody.

“They are in fantastic shape and they are hurling together very very well and they are going to be very very difficult to beat. Ah they are extremely fit, they are very very fit and they are working bery hard for each other and they have a very good team.”

Wexford’s will have Davy Fitzgerald back on the touchline for their Leinster Senior Hurling Championship final against the winners of Galway and Offaly who play out their semi-final fixture in Portlaoise this Sunday afternoon at 2pm. This year’s Leinster final takes place in Croke Park on Sunday 2 July.
