In the wake of this weekend’s club hurling fixtures, the draws for the Kilkenny senior hurling championship quarter finals have been made.

Details of the intermediate quarter finals and junior hurling championship semi-finals were also announced on Sunday.

St. Canice’s Credit Union Senior Hurling Championship Quarter Finals

  • Dicksboro v Ballyhale Shamrocks
  • James Stephens v Erins Own/Carrickshock
  • Bennettsbridge v Mullinavat
  • O’Loughlin Gaels v Clara

Michael Lyng Motors Intermediate Hurling Championship Quarter Finals

  • Tullaroan v Thomastown
  • Graigue Ballycallan v Glenmore/St. Martin’s
  • John Lockes v Tullogher-Rosbercon
  • Lisdowney v St. Lachtain’s

JJ Kavanagh & Sons Junior Hurling Championship Semi-Finals

  • Dicksboro v Dunamaggin
  • Piltown v Slieverue

In the senior hurling championship, league champions James Stephens have to wait for Erins Own and Carrickshock to replay their first round fixture. That meeting will happen on Saturday 6 October.

First round replays will take place this Saturday 29 September with the first of the senior quarter finals on Sunday.

Intermediate and Junior games continue on Sunday 7 October.
