Willie Mullins hasn’t decided yet where Faugheen’s next target will be.

Faugheen was highly impressively on his comeback when winning the Morgiana Hurdle in Punchestown on Sunday and speaking after the race, Willie says that Paul Townend could have a very good season deputizing for the injured Ruby Walsh…..

“Delighted for Paul, disappointed for Ruby because Ruby knew how well the horse was going, and he was I am sure terribly disappointed to get that injury”

“He knows possibly how well the other stars that are coming back are going as well at home. If they stay right, Paul stays right, Paul could have a nice Autumn”.

“Not too worried about where we go again. That will take care of itself, we will resolve that in the next few days but just hopefully he comes out of the race too sound, I don’t see any reason why he shouldn’t and then we will just pick a target either before Christmas or after Christmas. We will see, will see what comes up”
