Former Myshall Camogie player Nuala Quirke says the fact they have an All-Ireland Semi-Final to look forward to early in the New Year is creating a great stir around the parish.

Speaking to KCLR after Myshall’s Leinster Final victory over Shinrone yesterday, Nuala says the winter will be shortened…..

“I think we are meeting Connacht the Galway Team, I haven’t got the name off hand now maybe the first week in February I think, probably at a neutral venue hopefully”

“Fantastic for all the girls and for the club and for our parish that we are still training, training under lights down there in the village, and it’s great spirit and great comeradie around the place and it’s bringing for everybody involved in the parish and everyone’s family and everything to keep going for the whole Winter”

“We are going to go down there training now and a great stir around the place. It’s just mighty for the girls and for the parish, all the families involved, it’s great for the GAA club in general”
