Former County and All-Ireland Club medal winner with Ballyhale Shamrocks Kevin Fennelly says that introducing the young players this year has helped Shamrocks greatly.

Speaking to KCLR ahead of their County Final against O Loughlin Gaels, Kevin says that Shamrocks will be difficult to beat…..

“So all those young lads that are coming and to be fair I thought the Shamrocks were slow bringing them in like, and I was critical last year of the Shamrocks that they didn’t bring in more lads like and it has proved this year”

“They are back again and they are going to be very difficult to beat and even without Michael (Fennelly) and Conor Walsh and the likes of young (Alan) Cuddihy that are gone away from last years team, they are still the team to beat and they will be hard to beat and they will go in as favourites into the County Final but they are a young a good few of them and O’Loughlins are a seasoned oul team so it will be interesting”
