It looks like good news for Carlow and Kilkenny’s camogie clubs that won their county titles in 2020.

It’s understood that the camogie association is reinstating the 2020 provincial and all Ireland club championships.

Timeline

They’re expected to take place after the county championships conclude on the 21st of November and before the 2021 club and provincial championships start.

Conahy, Thomastown, Myshall, and Ballinkillen were the big winners of their respective club championships in 2020.

Debacle

The chairman of Conahy Shamrocks camogie Paddy Delaney recently said they’ve been working tirelessly with the Camogie Association to try and find a solution to the All Ireland club championship debacle.

It was to go ahead, however, with the season structure changing after a vote recently, the time scale became a sticking point however an agreement appears to have been reached.
