The Scheduled for Two Falls podcast with Niall Morrissey and Ciaran Dunphy, continues to go from strength to strength, producing main event caliber guests. From the likes of former UFC and WWE superstar Ken Shamrock  , to ECW legend Raven and former Intercontinental champ the Godfather, the tag team have carved out a nice run for themselves! However their newest guest on the show is without a doubt their biggest interview to date and some way to kick off season three.

After capturing the IWGP Championship a mere days before in Ryōgoku Kokugikan, Toyko the duo was joined by none other then “The Ariel Assassin” Will Ospreay. The new champ was no doubt hurting after his battle against “The Golden Star” Kota Ibushi at Genesis, however he was more then happy to continue to lay down some challenges.

THIS IS HUGE!

We landed an exclusive interview with NEW IWGP @njpwworld world heavyweight champ @WillOspreay

He cuts a promo on so called “dream opponents” @DMcIntyreWWE @CMPunk & @FinnBalor

We cover his favourite matches, TNA, @OTT_wrestling and SO MUCH MORE.

WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre , AEW champion Kenny Omega and Irish wrestling legend Finn Balor were all subject to the ire of the United Empire Kingpin. Keen to kick every forbidden door open Ospreay just wants to have the best bout’s against the best opponents in the world, alongside his faction mates The Great-O-Kahn, Jeff Cobb and Aaron Henare. At the age of 27, Ospreay all ready has a huge body of work after debuting in 2012. In 2016 he and Richochet broke the internet by having a series of matches that helped change the landscape of wrestling. Obviously the personal pressure is raised with capturing gold in NJPW, but laying down challenges to different companies he no doubt raises the stakes again, with the pride of the whole company on his back.

Speaking of different companies, with Niall and Ciaran being big supporters of our thriving Irish scene, they would not have a conversation without mentioning Over The Top Wrestling, the premiere wrestling organisation in Ireland. Ospreay has had some of his best matches on these shores with the likes of Former US Champions’s Ricochet & Matt Riddle, AEW Tag team Champs The Young Bucks, AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and, my favorite, his match with WWE NXT UK monster Walter. You can watch all these matches on demand subscription service, by clicking right here. To give you a taste though OTT have been very kind and put the match up free to air on Youtube, sound Bai’s!

The guys at Scheduled for two falls have been doing a fantastic job since its inception, so it’s well worth dipping into the archives. Even this writer got to have a blast on the Royal Rumble preview show ( Little did they know at the time they were interviewing IWW jobber Shane The Brusiser).

It’s worth mentioning that the Podcast is available anywhere you happen to do your podcast listening!
