Kilkenny’s senior camogie team is getting ready for their division 1 semi-final on Sunday in Nowlan Park against Tipperary at 1 pm.

They had a hard-fought victory over Limerick in the quarter-final but they managed to edge them on a scoreline of 2-10 to 0-13.

The Player of the match in the Limerick win, Niamh Deely says the game was very close and they’re going to have to step it up this weekend.

“We know we have so much more in us, to be honest, we probably weren’t expecting that intensity, we were expecting the intensity but weren’t expecting that much of a challenge really but Limerick were very very good,” said Niamh.

“We’re just going to have to step it up a notch now and bring that intensity and more on each other and hopefully take it from there” she added.

We have live commentary of the game from 1 pm this Sunday with thanks to Country Style Foods.

Minors

Meanwhile, the draws for the Minor A All Ireland Championships have been made.
